Double Zero is known for its high quality therefore the restaurant itself had to be of the same standard. The nearly 10,000 sq. ft. space in Chinook Mall includes a market-style experience on the main floor and a more traditional restaurant and patio offering on the second floor. The project was completed by our national special services group (SSG) team in Calgary, Alberta
One challenge we faced during the renovation stage was coordinating our build sequence. One delivery in particular that challenged our project schedule was a specialized pizza oven imported from Italy. The team needed to forge ahead and revise plans to incorporate the oven. This was done by conducting an overnight shut down of the Macleod Trail, and craning the oven into place.
