Civil
construction
At Chandos, we are dedicated to constructing resilient infrastructure that serves as the backbone for vibrant communities. Our civil construction projects encompass roads, bridges, utilities, and clean energy systems, all designed with sustainability in mind.
BUILDING WHAT COMMUNITIES DEPEND ON
We aim to support both urban and rural development through:
- Tailored solutions: Custom infrastructure that meets the unique needs of each community
- Sustainable practices: Employing advanced technologies and methods for lasting impact in the communities we work and live in
COMMUNITY-CENTRIC APPROACH
Our work is rooted in strong partnerships. By merging technical expertise with a commitment to people and place, Chandos builds infrastructure that communities can rely on today and for generations to come.
Collaborative projects
We engage with local communities to upgrade essential infrastructure, including water systems.
Empowerment opportunities
We prioritize local hiring, training programs, and partnerships with community businesses.
Commitment to reconciliation
Our initiatives align with Call to Action 92, ensuring our projects create meaningful benefits for Indigenous partners.
FEATURED PROJECTS
Lloydminster Wastewater Treatment Facility
This joint venture was delivered with integrated project delivery and includes a large exterior, partially-buried concrete tanks for the primary clarifier, equalization and fine screen chambers, bioreactors, and more
Bayside Bridge
The canal bridge involved construction of a single span bridge over a man-made canal. We installed steel driven piles and cast-in-place concrete at each abutment while fostering a proactive sustainability focus.
Grand Forks Flood Mitigation
With a large portion of the work involving river access from tight areas, we spent our first two months on-site removing trees, performing proper fish isolation and turbidity control, and building access roads.
William Hawrelak Park
This project includes utilities, open spaces, and facility infrastructure. During construction our archeology partners did a site survey and found over 280 fossils from 39 different locations around the park.
