The City of Lacombe needed a new police facility to accommodate their growth and meet the future requirements of the police force.
The old facility was built in the early 1950’s – the new one was designed to last for the next 80 years. The new facility boasts a large lobby, rooms for staff members, meeting rooms for community groups, file storage, a new cellblock, and an in-house victim services office. The station was designed as a single storey as the client wanted to ensure accessibility to the community.
The project had a tight timeline. However, using our general contracting experience, we were able to complete it ahead of schedule.
