This school, constructed on a green field site, was a new structural steel building that will serve the Inglewood neighbourhood in Red Deer. In addition to building standard classrooms, we also built a gym that can be partitioned; an oval shaped music room; community space; and modular classrooms allowing for change and growth in the future. We also completed extensive outdoor work that created including three exterior classrooms.
Throughout the project, we held weekly site meetings and communicated regularly with the school district, the sub-trades and the designers. This collaboration allowed us to maintain a timely schedule and complete the project on budget.
This project was also awarded a LEED Silver certification.
