Double Zero is known for its high quality, so the restaurant was designed and constructed to reflect the same standard. The nearly 10,000 sq. ft. space at Chinook Centre features a market-style experience on the main floor, with a more traditional restaurant and patio on the second level. The project was delivered by Chandos’ Special Services Group (SSG) in Calgary, Alberta.
One challenge we faced during the renovation stage was coordinating our build sequence. One delivery in particular that challenged our project schedule was a specialized pizza oven imported from Italy. The team needed to forge ahead and revise plans to incorporate the oven. This was done by conducting an overnight shut down of the Macleod Trail, and craning the oven into place.
