Chandos began working with this client in 1998, delivering the first store in Grande Prairie. Since then, the relationship has grown to include 20 projects across Canada, representing a total contract value of $40 million.

This work spans multiple major markets, including Victoria, Langley, Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg, Toronto, North York, and Scarborough, reflecting a consistent and long-standing partnership.

The scope of work has varied across locations, ranging from interior developments to complete base building construction and tenant improvements. Projects have been delivered through a mix of contract types, including hard tender, negotiated construction management, and design-build. This flexibility has allowed the team to align with project needs and deliver consistent results regardless of the delivery model.
Across all projects, the focus has remained on meeting client expectations and maintaining schedule and budget commitments. To date, all Best Buy projects have been completed on time and on budget, supporting the client’s rollout strategy and operational requirements across multiple regions.
A notable project within this portfolio is the Future Shop South Edmonton Common location, completed in December 2008. This store served as Future Shop’s flagship location and introduced a new store design. The project also achieved LEED certification, demonstrating alignment with sustainability goals and evolving building standards.
Together, this body of work reflects a sustained national partnership built on consistency, adaptability, and the ability to deliver across a range of project types and locations.
