Aquatic Centre Construction
building modern aquatic centres that your community can rely on for decades
Across Canada, many aquatic and recreation facilities built in the 1970s and 80s are reaching the end of their lifecycle. Communities are now looking for modern and accessible, energy-efficient spaces. These facilities can support public use year-round and meet the expectations of today’s user groups.
Upgrading or replacing an aquatic centre is a major investment. Our teams have delivered multiplexes and aquatic projects of every scale, and we understand the pressure public owners face to get it right. When project partners align early, we can solve technical challenges sooner, keep information flowing, and deliver a predictable project from start to finish with a facility your community will be proud of.
Building facilities that bring people together
Explore our aquatic centre projects
Peter Hemingway Aquatic Centre
Our team modernized an iconic 27,000 sq. ft. heritage building by upgrading its envelope, mechanical systems, pools, and accessibility features. We preserved its distinctive architectural character while improving the facility’s long-term sustainability.
Bella Coola Centennial Pool
We brought a 1960-era facility back to life using a prefabricated stainless steel system to reduce risk and improve constructability. This approach also lowered the project’s environmental impact while maximizing participation in this remote community.
Ricochet Oil Corp. Aquatic Centre
We delivered a new aquatic centre through integrated project delivery. This approach combined proactive procurement with energy-efficient systems, including solar PV integration, to reduce emissions and increase long-term community savings.
Mill Creek Pool
We rehabilitated a 1950s facility with new pool structures and upgraded filtration systems along with a zero-entry design. We used 3-D scanning to resolve mechanical constraints and improve long-term performance.

What sets us apart
EXPERIENCE
Aquatic facilities involve complex systems and tight coordination. They also involve long‑term operational needs. Our project teams understand how the flow of work connects with construction sequencing, and we understand the challenges that make these projects unique.
CERTAINTY
We work closely with owners and consultants from the start. Early alignment helps us solve technical challenges sooner and keep information flowing to support a predictable schedule and long-term community savings.
SUSTAINABILITY
Our teams understand regional requirements and the unique climate and operational needs in each area. This insight helps us make timely decisions and deliver facilities that operate safely and efficiently for decades.
COMMUNITY
Because our teams work locally, we understand the partners involved from municipal leaders to trade partners, and we build facilities that reflect the needs of each community.
