This development involved flipping and renovating a 56,000 sq. ft. warehouse with multiple light industrial bays into a three storey office building. The project also included mezzanine development and the construction of a 13,000 sq. ft. office floor plate. External glazing was also required to the office area that was approximately 36m x 36m; and the warehouse that was 139m x 36 m.
There were major civil works throughout the site consisting of underground services, retaining walls and upgrades to existing buildings. Due to unexpected soil conditions on site, our team was also required to incorporate a retaining wall at the last-minute.
We met frequently with the architect, trades, the owner, and the project manager and superintendent, and through collaboration, we were able to find cost-effective solutions.
