okimaw peyeswe kamik, Boyle Street Community Services

Once completed, the new 55,000 sq. ft. okimaw peyeswe kamik (King Thunderbird Centre) will expand Boyle Street Community Services reach in serving the most vulnerable communities within Edmonton, Alberta.

We are partnering with Boyle Street Community and Hodgson Schilf Evans Architects to complete redevelopment of a two-and-a-half-acre parcel of land, consisting of a commercial office that will be transformed into a community and staff centre.

Substantial upgrades include:

  • Exterior building envelope

  • Interior fit-out

  • New building systems

  • Land regrading

  • Walkways and private outdoor spaces

  • Landscaping influenced by Indigenous art and design assisting with occupant flow

  • Full fit out of the original building

  • Geothermal Field installation
